I'm Merlin Griffiths and I've worked in and around bars and hospitality for almost thirty years. My work has taken me from London's Soho bars in the 90's to 5* Indian Hotels, eventually to Bacardi as a Global Brand Ambassador for Bombay Sapphire Gin and then to owning my first pub (it used to be in Kilburn, London). These days you may have seen me chatting to dates on the Channel 4 show First Dates, or making fun cocktails with chef James Martin on ITV.
It's been a personal dream of mine to see people making quality drinks at home using decent bar equipment for quite some time. In all honesty, previously the best tools for the job were hard to find unless you had a wholesale trade account... Until now.
